Nicholas has been an Associate at Dorsey and Whitney LLP for the last five years, focusing on US Capital Markets Law. Before joining Dorsey and Whitney LLP, he worked at a prominent law firm on Wall Street in New York.
I recently had the opportunity to interview Stewart Gavin who has been the president of Gavin Group for nearly 21 years. Stew played over 900 professional hockey games in his career including over 750 in the NHL with the Leafs, Whalers and North Stars. Stew currently sits on the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Jason Marchand is a 2006 SPAD graduate who currently sits as the Executive Director at the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) and has a deep-rooted passion for all things sport. Utilizing the numerous skills and lessons he was taught over his time at Laurentian, the SPAD alumni successfully used his past experiences to help pave the road to becoming successful in the heavily diluted world of sport. I was fortunate enough to learn more about Jason and his road to the NOHA almost 18 years after graduating from Laurentian.
